Interested in sharing your knowldege, experience and love of Mare Island with other interested people?

Why not volunteer as a docent or tour guide with many of our ongoing programs? From a few hours a week to long term projects that match your skills and interests - we have many opportuniites for dedicated, passionate people with an interest in militray and local history..

We've plenty of "behind-the-scenes" opportunities, where you can contribute, as well - everything from display building (for the Museum) to event monitoring at one of the historic mansions. Maybe there's some area of expertise or interst in Mare Island you can contribute that we haven't even thought of yet! Why not contact us?
